Media registration for Remembrance Day

Accredited media should apply using this form for attendance on Remembrance Day 2024.

Access to the 2024 Remembrance Day restricted media zone (allowing close access to key ceremonial elements) is only permitted with a pre-approved media pass. Please fill in the form below to apply. Note, general access to public areas is classified as News of the Day and does not require a media pass.

Media registrations close at 5pm on Wednesday 6 November 2024.

Passes must be collected between midday and 5pm on Friday 8 November.

Media zone passes are not transferrable. Please contact marketing@shrine.org,au if you require assistance with your application.

Key timings for media on Remembrance Day

  • Onsite links van bump-ins from 8:30am to 9am
  • Media arrivals and access to restricted media zone from 9.30am to 10am
  • Smoking Ceremony at 10:30am
  • MC introduction at 10:40am
  • The Ode, bugle calls and minute of silence from 10:56am to 11:02am
  • Service concludes at 11:30am

Media zone guidelines

Foot access to the Media Zone will be via the north-west lawn

Vehicle access is only by prior approval. Refer to the application form below.

Media must stay within the restricted media zone and must not traverse the terrace area, nor move around or make sounds once the service commences.

Drones are not permitted to be flown onsite at any time.
