An engaging, hands-on, guided program for schools using First World War artefacts.
How did ordinary Australians experience the challenges of the Great War? In this engaging hands-on program, your students will use historical artefacts to investigate how the lives of an entire generation were shaped forever by Australia’s participation in the First World War. Students will visit the monument and the galleries to learn about the origins of the Shrine as a memorial to the losses and sacrifices of Victorians in the years 1914 to 1918.
