Join us at week's close to honour those who have served and sacrificed so that we may enjoy our lives of relative peace, comfort and freedom.

Each Sunday we pause to remember a different event from Australia's military history. We remember the men and women who took part in those events, and the lives lost or forever changed.

In the lead-up to Remembrance Day, join us for a special Last Post Service at the Shrine of Remembrance as we commemorate its 90th anniversary. This poignant service pays tribute to the countless Australians who have served and sacrificed for our nation, while acknowledging the Shrine’s enduring legacy as a place of reflection and remembrance.

Today, descendants of the Shrine’s original architects and builders will be present to lay wreaths in honour of their forebears’ vision and the lasting impact of their design. Their presence serves as a powerful reminder of the Shrine’s profound architectural and symbolic importance, now and for generations to come.

All are welcome to join us in remembrance.

Shrine Representative:

  • Shrine Governor. Lieutenant Colonel David Blackwell OAM RFD
