Embrace creativity and explore the Shrine these school holidays

Looking for a fun and educational way to keep the kids entertained these school holidays? We’ve got just the thing!

Bring your little ones to the Shrine for our FREE School Holiday Program, where their imaginations can soar and creativity can blossom. Inspired by our Designing Remembrance exhibition, your children will have the chance to design and create their very own Shrine!

Here’s what’s in store:

  • Build a Shrine: Let your kids get crafty with our hands-on activity, where they can construct their own mini model of the Shrine. A perfect way to combine fun and learning!
  • Create a Shrine: With our special design activity sheet, children can let their imaginations run wild and design a Shrine that’s all their own. Who knows what amazing ideas they’ll come up with?
  • Colour a Shrine: For the younger ones, we’ve got a delightful colouring sheet available in the Shrine Kids corner. It’s a great way to introduce them to the beauty and history of the Shrine.

*10am-12.00pm, Monday to Friday during the school holidays.

No bookings are required—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! Whether they’re budding architects or just love to colour, there’s something for every child to enjoy.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to the Shrine for a day of fun, learning, and creativity.

*The 'Build a Shrine' activity (pictured) is only available during the facilitated times. We encourage families to participate in the non-guided activities at any time. Sessions do not run on weekends or Grand Final public holiday (27 Sept).
